DIY Pom Pom Mobile

We don’t know who will love this mobile more, that special baby in your life or you! There couldn’t be an easier or more inexpensive way to make a colorful mobile that will be full of movement, color, and most importantly love.

All you’ll need to make a pom pom mobile is:

•Embroidery hoop
•Yarn in different colors
•Matching Ribbon
•Scissors

Start by making your pom poms. Just wrap the yarn around two fingers for your desired thickness, take another piece of yarn and tie tightly around the middle. Snip the yarn loops apart and trim to form a semi-perfect ball. Repeat in different colors for a variety of pom poms.

Next, tie the pom poms onto different lengths of yarn and tie to the inside of an embroidery hoop. Tape your piece of ribbon around the hoop, then tie on four additional pieces of yarn secured together to hang the hoop from.

We love the pop of color this adds to any nursery, but more importantly it’s the handcrafted care that went into it that makes this mobile the most precious of all.
