Easy As Pie DIY Cake Stand

A cake stand is like the crown jewel of kitchen goods you don’t really need, but really, really want… So that kind of means you need it right? Buying kitchen goods is such a guilty pleasure, here’s how you can save a penny or two by making your own and up-cycle an old unused plate and bowl into a beautiful cake stand!

For this fabulous DIY you’ll need:

Old Plate

Bowl / Glass

Ceramic Epoxy

Okay, are you ready? Turn your plate upside-down. Good job, now uncap your epoxy and squeeze out a good portion right onto the middle of your plate, making sure the two-parts mix together thoroughly.

Next, take your bowl or glass and place the bottom right onto the glob of glue in the center of your plate.

Leave this untouched per your epoxy’s instructions – usually it dries in 15 minutes and cures within 24 hours. Then, oh my goodness you made a cake stand!
