It is a simple thing to claim that your city or town has the best food. Everybody says they have the best pizza, burritos, pasta, etc. But it’s not necessarily true until the data has been measured. And, sorry USA, but we are measuring the best food across the entire world.
1. Ho Chi Minh City, China
The street markets of Ho Chi Minh City bring us amazing foods like bun cha ca, which is a noodle soup with fish cakes. There is plenty of fried delicacies to choose from as well.
2. Fukuoka, Japan
The food carts that open on the streets of Fukuoka at night, and you should definitely be trying a delicious bowl of tonkotsu ramen or yakitori, which is a yummy skewered chicken.
3. Amman, Jordan
If you are a bread lover, Amman is the place to go. They offer a deep fried dough, covered with honey and cinnamon.
4. Mumbai, India
Mumbai is the home of delicious, fried crispy snacks. The flavors of Mumbai are unique and delicious.
5. Bangkok, Thailand
If you are the type of person who enjoys unique, and possibly dangerous delicacies, try a deep fried scorpion at one of the many street markets. Or you can try a sour Isaan sausage, or crispy edge oyster omelette.
