So thrilled to receive a #GRAMMYs nomination! This past year has been such a meaningful, exhilarating ride. I’ve loved hearing your stories and continuing down the road of becoming together. Thank you for every ounce of love and support you’ve shared so generously. #IAmBecoming

She’s not the first in her family to receive such a high-brow nomination. Barack received two Grammy’s in 2005 and 2007 for each of his books. Michelle was also nominated for a Grammy for her first book American Grown.
As these two different worlds become more interconnected, it will be increasingly interesting to see the spheres mesh for the greater good of culture. As for Michelle, we can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.
