Mom’s Apple-tizer: Apple, Prosciutto & Cheese – What More Do you Need?!

This appletizer (get it: apple and appetizer!) comes straight from Chef Alyssa’s family.

All you need is…

prosciutto
cheese
rosemary
apples
toothpicks

First, cut your apple into even sized slices. Next cut the cheese into evenly sized slices (Chef Alyssa is using Gruyere).

Stack an apple slice, a piece of cheese, and a sprig of rosemary.

Wrap the entire thing with a slice of prosciutto into a bundle.

Sear them so the meat caramelizes and the cheese starts to melt.

Plate them and put a toothpick into each one.

Serve warm. Delicious!
