The new Paramount+ streaming app is finally here and is debuting the new streaming service with a brand new movie “Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge On The Run.” The new movie features an exciting new adventure and animation style for the beloved sponge of Bikini Bottom along with the return of all his favorite friends.

“Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge On The Run” is the ultimate adventure where Spongebob’s beloved snail pet Gary is “snail-napped” and Spongebob goes on a rescue mission with his friends to find his beloved pet. The new movie will feature a lot of new aspects of the animation series while reflecting on the past with retcons for two episodes including “Help Wanted!” and “Tea at the Treedome.”
Spongebob will be joined with the original cast for the revival along with new characters and some famous faces, literally. Awkwafina will be joining the cast as a robot invented by Sandy Cheeks and Keanu Reeves appearing as a guru of Spongebob’s journey. There will be more celebrity appearances by Snoop Dogg, Danny Trejo, and more.

You can watch the new Spongebob movie on Paramount+ that is currently offering a free 30-day trial following a monthly subscription fee of $5.99 that users can cancel at any time. There is also the rental option on AppleTV, Prime Video, Vudu, and other digital stores.
