Dealing With Heartbreak

Bella Breakdown

This is the day you have always dreaded. The day you experienced a massive heartbreak. Someone that you have loved absolutely shredded your heart and soul. It is one of the most painful feelings in the world. It feels like you’re bleeding everywhere, but no actual blood anywhere. So how exactly do we move through our massive heartbreaks?

Well, some of the best ways to get through a heartbreak is to spend time with your friends and family. They have more than likely been through heartbreak of their own, and can likely commiserate with you. They are also there to show you that you can come out on the other side of it.

As much as self medication like drinking or partying, sounds like a good idea, it usually isn’t. Using substances clouds your judgement, and you might end up setting yourself back if you try to contact the person who broke your heart on a night out.

Do things that make you happy when someone breaks your heart. Take yourself out, read books, binge your favorite shows, spend time with loved ones, decide to take a trip somewhere. Heartbreak is a great way to get to know yourself again.
