How to Create Cat Eye Style

Bella Breakdown
Not just for those retro loving girls any more, the cat eye is back with a passion and we love it!

It makes us feel womanly and chic all from two flicks of eyeliner, but how many times have you tried this at home and been left scraping those two easy “wings” that took flight and wound up all over your face?

Learn how to do it right in beauty 101. The base of your cat eye could just be foundation, some translucent powder, or even a shadow base, just keep it relatively nude to your skin color so that the liner really pops. You’ll start by drawing the liner on in three easy steps starting at the outer corner first.

For amateurs, a felt-tip pen liner is easier to use than a brush, so just hold the pen in the middle (for better control) and draw the flick first, angling it up towards the outer end of your eyebrow. Clean up the flick by using a sharp Q-tip and a little bit of eye-makeup remover.

Next, draw the liner from the inner corner of the eye. The line should be the thinnest here and make sure not to pause while drawing or the line will look uneven. Now, you’re going to connect those two lines by thickening the line form the midpoint to the outer corner. Apply lengthening mascara to your top and bottom lashes to finish the look.

Sexy and classic you really can’t go wrong for daytime or evening. Me-ow!
