Nicki Minaj Announces New Album “Queen” Then Immediately Delays Release

The Queen of Rap has just pushed her highly anticipated 4th album back from June 15th to August 10th after initially announcing it at the Met Gala last week. This news comes directly after her announcing via Twitter that her shoot with Ellen Degeneres was going to be cancelled due to “doctor’s orders.”

The Chun-Li rapper has promised that this album will be some of her best work yet, so us fans should be thankful she’s taking her time to make sure it exceeds her previous album, “The Pinkprint.”

But my Anaconda don’t want none unless she gets the album done!

In the past month, Miss Minaj has dropped two singles with breathtaking music videos that followed suit: Chun Li and Barbie Tingz. Following those releases, she has also appeared on Playboy Carti’s Poke It Out and YG’s latest release (out today) called Big Bank.

The Superbass superstar also performed on the season finale of Saturday Night Live which aired on May 19th, giving a fiery performance of some of her lyrical genius.

If you’re like me and cannot wait for more Nicki, she did promise a second single from the album to be dropping between now and August via an Instagram Live video, so at least we have something to look forward to.
