At this time of year, everyone’s skin is feeling sensitive from all of the elements of winter beating it down, making it dry, and chaffing it. The time has come to do some skin maintenance to get our skin feeling fresh and hydrated.
Instead of using a harsh cleanser, try a product that is more gentle on the skin. Look for products that are fragrance-free, contain no exfoliants, hydrate, and remove impurities. This will leave your skin glowing!
After washing, you should protect your skin by putting on a layer of lightweight face lotion that contains SPF30 or above. Make sure the lotion is non-irritant and non-scented.
Besides what you use on your body, it’s important to focus on what your body is doing. Drink at least two liters of water every day, get yourself on a regular sleep schedule, and do at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Movement, sleep, and water will do wonders for your skin, helping it to feel healthy and refreshed.
