Connected S1:E3 | An Apple a Day

Bella Breakdown

We’re tuning back into the real lives of a colorful group of New Yorkers, finding their way through relationship problems, health scares, and the daily ups and downs of co-habitation.

In this episode we meet Eli & Ido, 34 & 37, they’re married with two adorable children, a chemist and high tech manager respectively. They live in Forest Hills, Queens and as we meet them, Eli is dropping off his mom at the airport with a teary goodbye, and putting their kids to sleep, never an easy task is only made harder with some noisy neighbored gettin’ it on.

We meet back up with Rosie, our favorite radio personality, currently between jobs and we learn about an all too real bump in the road, a bump in her breast. As she waits to hear results back from her doctor, another medical emergency has cropped up with a family member of the Connected cast.

It’s Jonathan’s father. He’s loosing weight, his blood pressure’s climbing and with the possibility of needing a new kidney, Susan asks if he would give him one. While it may seem shocking when he says no, later we hear about his unique ability “to not give a damn”apparently, even when it came to being a father.

We’re sad to be left on a cliff and not know what going to happen to all these new friends. Cheers to Rosie for keeping her head up and Jonathan for keeping close with his dad. Best wishes for Eli and Ido after their family tragedy, we’ll certainly be tuning in for the next Connected and see what happens.
