Connected S1:E5 Learn From Your Mistakes

We’re feeling extra connected to this cast of New Yorkers this episode as they show us some of the mistakes they’ve made in the past and how being human isn’t always easy. From marriages to monogamy, see the compromises that make their everyday happen.

First, there’s a whirlwind of gossip circling Lori about her relationship and parenting in her fiancé’s hometown. Which, to quote Lori is “a wicked little town, full of wicked little girls who are all grown up now and have nothing better to do than run their mouth.” A tumultuous family dinner leads to some introspection, then see how they do as one big family when their mom steps onto the scene.

Next there’s Jonathan who is finally getting divorced, after being legally married for 9 years. With his soon-to-be ex-wife and her boyfriend staying at his house, he’s staying with Susan for the happy day. Then he takes a trip to Canada to pay her a visit and check out some of the nightlife scene there.

We’re still waiting to find out Rosie’s breast cancer results, in the mean time her family is in full soap opera mode. With a sister breaking up and getting back together with her boyfriend and another in the family pregnant, there’s a lot of love going around, but also a lot of questions being asked.
