All you’ll need is:

  • Medium Pumpkin
  • Large Carving Knife
  • Pumpkin Carving Kit
  • Sharpie
  • Spigot

Start by carving an outline around the top of the pumpkin and use your carving knife to separate from the rest of the pumpkin. Next, use the scoop and tools from your pumpkin carving kit to clean out the inside. It’s okay if you leave a little bit to add a nice autumnal flavor to your beer.

You’ll want to carve a small hole at the base of your pumpkin that’s slightly smaller in diameter than the base of your spigot. Now all you have to do is fill the newly-made keg with your favorite pumpkin ale or Oktoberfest brew!
