Incredibly Clever Holiday Treat Hacks

Bella Breakdown
We’ve got a few little holiday hacks that are sure to make your festive preparations a whole bunch easier and tastier this year. These treats are so easy, an elf could make them. And elves are notoriously bad bakers.

Make Pre-Made Whipped Cream Swirls
holidaytreathacks1These guys are great atop a cup of hot chocolate. All you need to do is whip heavy whipping cream, whip it real good…yes, pun intended. Then, use a plastic bag to make swirls on a baking sheet. Freeze those bad boys for about 2-3 hours, then pop onto a pipping hot cup of cocoa for a delicious holiday treat that will warm you from the inside out.

Make Cute Candy Christmas Lights
holidaytreathacks2All you need to do to make these sweet treats is start by cutting a bunch of green Mike&Ikes in half. Then, attach the sticky side of the Mike&Ike to the side of a peanut M&M. There you have it, an adorable little holiday treat for the kids…or should we say, the kid in you.

Make Peppermint Pixie Dust
holidaytreathacks3This cute treat starts by pulverizing some candy canes….you know you have at least 2 extra boxes of candy canes in the house around the holidays so this treat will put them to good use. Next, put your candy cane dust into a bowl and sprinkle it onto your other holiday creations, like cookies or cakes, to add a little extra shimmer or just eat the sweet pixie dust right from the bowl with a spoon, which is probably what will end up happening if we’re being honest.

Make Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees
holidaytreathacks4Start by taking classic sugar cones and coating them liberally in white melted baking chocolate. Set your cones point side up on a plate and while they are still wet from the chocolate apply a little shredded coconut for a snowy effect. Then decorate with M&M’s, Red Hots, chocolate chips or whatever other small candies you like.
