Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Welcome A Baby Boy

Royal excitement was buzzing on Monday as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed a son into the world. The prince was proud to announce the birth of his first child who came into the world weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces.

“We’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody,” Harry told the press Monday afternoon. According to the prince, his and Markle’s child came later than they were hoping so it gave them time to think over the perfect name, but that has yet to be shared with the public due to the couple wanting to keep things private for now.

Along with Harry, Markle’s mother was reportedly also present for her grandchild’s birth and is allegedly overjoyed by the child’s birth. The infant is now the seventh in line to the British throne and Queen Elizabeth II’s eighth great-grandchild.

Due to his parents, the child is eligible for dual British and U.S. citizenship only if Meghan and Harry decide to go through the application process.

“This little thing is absolutely to die for,” Harry gushed. “I’m just over the moon.” You may not be able to personally congratulate the couple on the arrival of their child, but you can celebrate with Whole Foods’ limited edition royal cheese.
