Travel Friendly Baby Gear For Everyday Use

Bella Breakdown

I was recently talking to a friend about helpful baby travel gear. She made me list of three or four essentials. After looking at the products, I realized they were lightweight no frills versions of items I already have. Those of you with kids will understand, regardless of how many or few baby items you have at home, there is never enough room for everything. It made me think: why couldn’t I use travel friendly baby gear in my everyday life. This is my list of travel friendly baby gear for everyday use:

Any Breathable Baby Carrier:
There are a ton on the market, many have breathable mesh or lightweight options. Pick the right one for within your budget. When your baby is secured and both hands are free, the world is your oyster.

A Diaper Backpack:
I use a cheap backpack I bought on Amazon, over the designer diaper bag (purse) I have. The compact design of many baby backpacks makes them a smarter choice over the diaper purse. Most have a number of compartments, including an insulated compartment for bottles. A baby carrier in the front and a bag pack in the back may seem like a lot, but all your essentials are only an arm’s length away.

Summer Infant has 4 great products for life on the go:
– Pop N’ Play Portable Playard (the deluxe version comes with a removable canopy)
– Pop and Sit Portable Booster
– Pop N’ Jump Portable Activity Seat
– 3D Lite Convenience Strollers

All of the above, except for the stroller come with a strapped carrying case. The stroller has a carrying strap built in.

Mixie Bottle: Nothing is more annoying than preparing a baby bottle, especially on the go. The Mixie bottle has a separate sealed formula compartment inside the bottle. You put the formula in its separate compartment, and the water in the bottle. When you’re ready to mix, just push the button at the bottom the bottle to shake and blend. The bottles come in convenient 4 and 8 oz sizes.

Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat:
This easy to install, 6.8 lb car seat is perfect for tiny cars and travel. It’s suited for rear facing infants and forward facing toddlers. This seat meets all the testing and quality standards, also boasting a pretty high consumer reports score.

So when you’re shopping or working on your baby registry, the above items are worth a peek.
