How to Get Gabrielle Union’s Glossy Red Lips

We’re in love with Gabrielle Union’s gorgeous red lip, from street style to the red carpet, she kills it with her signature bright glossy look.

Lucky us, Miss Union’s very own makeup artist Kristofer Buckle is going to show us how it’s done.

The key is to start the same way you do a normal matte lip, just apply your lipstick, either with a brush or your finger until lip fully covered.

Kristofer used a $3 brush from the art store, so don’t think you need to go splurge of new tools, just use what you have.

Next, take a clear gloss and gently dab on near the center of the lip.

You can treat the gloss as a highlighter for the lip and apply where you’d like more shine.

This adds a fullness and gives you a glossy look without a messy lip ; )
