How to Make a DIY Beach Cover-Up

We’re big fans of the oversized button down and think they make the perfect casual-chic beach cover-up! To give it a little more feminine edge, grab your oversized button down, a pair of pinking sheers – those super fun zig-zag scissors – and a pencil.

First flip your shirt over, pop the collar and draw a curved line where the collar begins and repeat on the other side.

Cut with your pinking sheers, making sure the teeth between cuts match-up. When this is washed it’ll fray and look really cute and ruffled.

Now you’re ready to hit the sand!
