How to Revamp What’s In Your Makeup Bag for Fall

Bella Breakdown

The change of season’s doesn’t just change what we keep in the closet, the colder weather and autumnal colors also have a lot to do with what makeup we use this time of year. Here’s all you really need to swap out for the best face this fall:

FACE

You’ll want to switch out your summer foundation for a more moisturizing one to keep your face healthy and glowing. Next up, skip that heavy contouring, instead, add a pop of color with a bright blush for that pinched-cheeks-on-a-cold-day look. Bonus: use a crème blush to keep your cheeks even more moisturized!

EYES

This fall is all about a barely there look with a nude lid. Keep your liner subtle with black, smudged liner. If you do want a pop of eyeshadow, go for muted metallics either in warm tones or a neutral palate.

LIPS

Good news! Red is back in town and here to stay. Instead of your summer nudes and glossy balms, switch them out for that perfect shade of crimson. We won’t tell if you need three lipsticks to choose between 😉

SKIN

Last but certainly not least, with the drier winter winds just around the corner, it’s time to step up your moisturizing routine.  Keep dried skin and cracked lips away with an all-purpose skin cream.
