Doctors are saying the Nordic diet (also known as the viking diet) is the key to long-term weight loss. The Nordic diet is compromised of natural food consumed in Nordic countries. The Nordic countries include Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. It is said that if you adopt this diet and pair it with a healthy amount of exercise, you could see dramatic, long-lasting results.

With this diet, it is encouraged that you eat a lot of fatty fish, fresh veggies, and fermented food. It emphasizes produce and other foods that are in season. Be ready to replace olive oil with canola oil as well. Be sure to steer clear of meat, any and all processed food and any added sugars. he diet is actually surprisingly affordable as well.

A salad with chicken or fish on top.
