Rent the Runway CEO Jenn Hyman joins Lunch Break with Tanya Rivero and explains Unlimited, the first subscription model giving women access to luxury fashion and accessories for a flat monthly fee. Instead of spending thousands on a special occasion dress you might never wear again, you can rent one for a fraction of the cost!
Rent the Runway is also aiming to fill all of your clothing needs, primarily the clothing you wear to work each day. For $139 per month, you can rent three articles of clothing at a time, and keep them for as long as you want, with no limit to the number of times you want to swap clothing or accessories. If you fall in love with one of the outfits, you also have the option to purchase it. The bonus is that the dry cleaning is free!
Project Entrepreneur is founded by Rent the Runway CEO Jenn Hyman, who is partnering with UBS to help female-founded start-ups grow and succeed. In addition to the competition, they are hosting 200 teams of female entrepreneurs to teach them skills on how to reach the next level and to become more business savvy. The 12 startup finalists will compete for a chance to win a 5-week accelerator program.
